Since its establishment, Heli A1 has been completing graveling and concrete operations frequently. Some of the delivery work we have includes dropping concrete into transmission line foundations sometimes requiring us to get up to 4-meters from 220kV live lines, dropping concrete into concrete pumps and cell tower foundations.

In 2018, an operation we assisted on by transporting concrete onto a barge in the Manukau Harbour to then be pumped into transmission tower footings was responsible for earning our client a Transpower STAR award at the bi-annual Transpower STAR awards night. STAR stands for ‘Safety Thanks and Recognition’ and they are presented to teams showing the best practice in the Transmission field.
